Coronavirus: Naomi Campbell wears Hazmat Suit to Airport

While countries are shutting down businesses, suspending large gatherings and locking states as preventive measures against Coronavirus, Naomi Campbell is putting her safety first by wearing hazmat suit to the airport.

Naomi is fond of battling germs whenever she is traveling, she even posted a video herself doing her before travel clean up routine, as she wiped everything close to her airplane seat with a Dettol anti-bacterial wipes last year.

So it is not surprising that the supermodel is making sure that she does not come in contact with the virus. She made a post on instagram twice with the caption: “Safety first.”

She could be seen wearing a protective suit, pink gloves and a face mask in the second post.

But the preventive measures she took was rewarded with mixed feelings by her followers. While some supported the fact that she was looking out for herself and ensuring that she does not contract the disease, some think she was busy joking around and making light of the disease and those who were affected.

Last summer, Naomi Campbell had posted a video on her YouTube channel where she revealed her methods of avoiding germs anytime she is traveling on air.

“Clean anything that you could possibly touch,” she advised, and then wiped her seat, seat belt, tray table, TV screen, remote control and window with anti-bacterial wipes.

“This is what I do on every plane I get on. I do not care what people think of me. It’s my health and it makes me feel better.”
“I mean as much as I travel, I should get sick so much more with colds and stuff,” she said.

“I’m blessed that I don’t. I really think that this helps me, my little routine.”
One can’t blame Campbell for taking precautions against this deadly virus, especially since it is said to be contracted mostly due to body contact.
